ECETOC launches ISEE/ISEA 2006 Exposure Science Award

ECETOC (European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals) was established in 1978 as an autonomous organisation, to provide a scientific forum through which specialised expertise within the European chemical industry could be harnessed to research, review, assess and publish studies on the ecotoxicology and toxicology of chemicals.

Following its 25th Anniversary in 2003, ECETOC has celebrated the achievements of a young investigators in different areas of human health and the environment by providing awards that identify their contribution to relevant scientific disciplines. Recognising the importance of ISEE/ISEA 2006 to ECETOC’s mission of supporting the safe manufacturing and use of chemicals, pharmaceuticals and biomaterials, ECETOC will work with the conference's scientific committee to provide a prize for the best oral or poster contribution by a young scientist at ISEE/ISEA www.paris2006.afsse.fr.

The Award
There will be one prize of €2,000 awarded in any area of exposure science considered relevant for inclusion

In addition to recognising the contribution of the investigator to the scientific content of ISEE/ISEA, the aim of the award is to help promote collaboration between research teams and organisations engaged in exposure-related research.
