Prof. Kees van Leeuwen publishes book on PBT Chemicals

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Kees van Leeuwen, member of the ECETOC Scientific Committee, has recently published the following book on PBT:
Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic (PBT) Chemicals: Technical Aspects, Policies, and Practices

See his team’s announcement:
Our book is out now:  Developed from the efforts of a multiyear, international project examining how persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic (PBT) chemicals are evaluated and managed, Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic (PBT) Chemicals: Technical Aspects, Policies, and Practices focuses on improving the processes that govern PBTs. Incorporating science and policy literature―as well as interviews and panel discussions featuring experts from around the world―this book provides you with an international perspective of PBT policies (centering on Europe, Asia, and North America), and reveals major findings and recommendations for improving PBT science, laws, and policies.

The book seems to be available for order on the CRC Press website here:
https://www.crcpress.com/Persistent-Bioaccumulative-and-Toxic-PBT-Chemicals-Technical-Aspects/Abelkop-Graham-Royer/9781482298772.
It is also available for pre-order on amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Persistent-Bioaccumulative-Toxic-PBT-Chemicals/dp/1482298775/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1439012079&sr=8-1&keywords=abelkop+pbt.
It is easiest to view a preview on amazon, and I suspect that the amazon site will be updated soon. I encourage you to share the links with anyone who you believe will find the book useful.

As mentioned by Kees and his team members, please do not hesitate to announce the book further within your companies and disseminate the links.
