New NOAA Chemical Aquatic Fate and Effects (CAFE) Database

New NOAA Chemical Aquatic Fate and Effects (CAFE) Database

Our thanks to Adriana Bejarano of Research Planning, Inc. (www.researchplanning.com) for the following announcement regarding the NOAA Chemical Aquatic Fate and Effects (CAFE) Database.

Dear colleagues,

Last year I shared with you an oil and dispersant database (DTox) that has now been fully integrated into NOAA’s Chemical Aquatic Fate and Effects (CAFE) Database.

I am happy to announce that CAFE is now freely available to the larger scientific community and the public. CAFE can be downloaded (Mac and Windows versions) through the webpage of the Office of Response and Restoration at the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) (http://response.restoration.noaa.gov/cafe). Please note that since we just released this product, we are still making changes to the webpage. However, the database itself is the most recent version developed to date.
