ECETOC 2022 Scoping Meeting

Location: Sparks, Brussels

ECETOC’s 2022 Scoping Meeting offered the opportunity for a broad audience of experts to review, discuss and select topics for ECETOC to focus on in 2022-2024. After its last edition in 2020 and the long Covid pause, we sought input from regulators on strategic topics of regulatory concern, collected ideas from a call for proposals, listened to participants' feedback, and re-designed our event to make it even more fit for purpose.

On the right hand side of this page, you can have a look at the programme and activity proposals and poster presented - as well as the presentation from ECHA.

New features:

  • human health and environment proposals will be discussed at the same meeting for more cross-sectorial collaboration opportunities
  •  more time for discussion - in the plenaries, in small groups during the break-out sessions and one-to-one in our new networking evening activity
  • 2 working days fully dedicated to ECETOC activities (potential research projects to be funded by Cefic LRI will not be in scope at this meeting)

Why we recommend participating in the Scoping Meeting:

  • meet, reconnect and network face-to-face with peers
  • discuss the pitched proposals and help shape them into impact-generating activities
  • cast your vote for the topic that is most relevant to your line of work, to make sure your priorities become ours

Scoping Meetings are biennial, invitation-only events, gathering representatives from ECETOC Member companies, academia, regulatory bodies and international institutions. For more information and to find out how to participate at any future editions of this event, please contact us at info@ecetoc.org.
