1st ECETOC Nexus Week

The first edition of the ECETOC Nexus Week was a great success! 5 days of workshops, discussions, networking events and peer exchange. The week featured the following events:

• Advancing biodiversity protection - Unifying approaches to chemical risk assessment in the EU context (4-6 May)
• Planetary boundary for novel entities - Defining a safe operating space for chemicals with actionable targets to progress a transition to a sustainable future (6-7 May)
• Annual General Meeting of ECETOC Members (invitation only) (6 May)
• Nexus Week Plenary Session - Keynote presentation on "Hidden Innovators" by Dr. Audrey-Flore Ngomsik (6 May)
• From concept to application - Practical implementation of enhanced 28-day studies (Smart studies/TG+) within a NAM based tiered testing approach for repeat dose toxicity (7-8 May)
