ECETOC Task Force is looking for data on rodent studies on poorly soluble particles

The newly-formed Task Force on Inhalation Toxicological Properties of Low Soluble Particles will launch an open call to ECETOC members to collect data on rodent studies on poorly soluble particles. The necessary information includes: study design (animal species, number of animals, exposure, duration, reversibility satellite group, test material and effects observed). The collected data will be analyzed and findings will be used to evaluate whether there is justification to classify and label poorly soluble particles of low toxicity as a group and whether a common NOAEC can be identified and applied.
