Environment branch of TRA TF to launch two new activities

The Environment Branch of the TRA Task Force is launching two new activities:

  • A literature review on assessment of humans exposed indirectly via the environment, to ascertain the state of the science and identify further research needs. This will be conducted by a consultant, with the Task Force acting as a Steering Group.
  • A collaboration project with RIVM to generate SimpleTreat predictions for a sample of chemicals and to further investigate cases where SimpleTreat may not be predicting conservatively with lower tier input data. This relates to current work by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) on improving waste water treatment removal modelling.
