The next Annual Conference of the European Partnership for Alternative Approaches to Animal Testing (EPAA) will take place on 30 November 2010 in Brussels and will be dedicated to reduction and refinement. Without prejudice to the ultimate aim of replacement, these 2Rs represent significant opportunities to contribute to advances in both science and overall animal welfare. As such, the EPAA will use this event to highlight the potential of reduction and refinement methods in a regulatory context.
