This 2-day workshop, kindly hosted by Statoil aimed to:
- Evaluate whether probabilistic risk assessment techniques can serve as balanced alternatives for the marine environment risk assessment as described by the EU-TGD;
- Provide an overview of required data and extrapolation techniques;
- Develop a discussion and summary statement on the application of these techniques in marine environmental risk assessment.
